JEE Advance 2014

About 150000 students have registered themselves for JEE Main examination and top qualified student will be shortlisted to appear for the JEE Advance examination 2014. JEE Advance 2014is the common entrance examination for admission in engineering colleges at National Level.

Those candidates who have qualified the JEE Main examination are eligible to apply for JEE Advance 2014. Main organisation of JEE Advance is IIT Kharagpur and conducted by Joint Admission Board.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidate must have qualified JEE Main examination.

He / She should have enough marks in class 12^th board to appear in the examination (CBSE candidtes require 78% and Bihar Board candidates need around 70% marks to appear in examination).

Important Dates :

Online registration starts : 4^th of May 2014.

Last date of online registration : 9^th of May 2014.

Lst to pay fee using Challan : 12^th of May 2014.

Exam Date : 25^th of May 2014.

Declaration of Result : 19^th of June 2014.

Date of counselling (registration) : 20^th of June 2014.

Application Fees :

For General & OBC candidates : Rs. 2000

For SC, ST, PD(male) candidate : Rs. 1000

There is no fee for female candidates.

How to apply :

• Log on to the official website of JEE Advance or click on www.jeeadv.iitd.ac.in.
• Click on registration option or you can click on new notification.
• Login using your registration number and password.
• Take printout of Challan form after submission of JEE Advance Aplication Form.
• Pay the fee at any SBI branch and submit it by 9^th of May 2014.

Examination Pattern :

Paper 1 (offline) :     3 Hours

Paper 2 (offline) :     3 Hours

Selection Procedure :

Selection will be done category wise on the basis of All India Merit Ranks on the JEE Advance 2014 scores. There will be also top 20% percentile of the marks of 12^th qualifying board to be considered for the ranks.
