The Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (HIMSR) offers MBBS course at Jamia Hamdard University for admission to Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS). Those candidates who are interested and eligible can apply
online for the application form available at the official website. The admission shall be made on the basis of AIPMT 2014 Score conducted by CBSE.

Eligibility :

Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with science stream from any recognised board or university having subjects as physics, chemistry, biology and English with minimum of 5% marks.

Minimum age for applying for application form is 17 year on or before 31^st of December 2014.

Important Dates :

Last Date for Applying of Application Form : 30^th of May 2014.

Number of seats and seats distribution :

General Category seats :  42 (for hindu candidates).

Reserved Category seats : 43  (for muslim candidates).

Management Category seats : 15

Total number of seats  : 100

Note : 3% of the total seats is reserved for candidates with disability of lower limb (except management seats).

You can also download the application form offline or you can do it online.

After filling the given form correctly providing correct details pay the application form using debit card / credit card or challan (Rs. 1200 Only).

For online candidate upload recent photograph and signature and click on submit button and takeout a print copy for reference.

For offline candidates he/ she must have to send application form with the help of speed post on the given address mentioned in the prospectus. Keep a copy of filled application form for later references.

Selection Procedure :

AIPMT 2014 score will help out the candidate for getting selected for admission in the courses offered by the university and merit list will be generated on this basis.

Selected candidate have to give medical test conducted by the HIMSR. If any student fails in medical test their admission will be rejected and he/ she will not be admitted.

Only HIMSR medical certificate will be valid at the time of examination.

In case of vacant seats, next candidate will be offered for admission and medical test examination according to the order of merit list.

Annual Course Fee :

For General Category : Rs 6.00 Lakh Per Year.

For Management Category: Rs. 15.00 Lakh Per Year.
